Role : QA Automation Engineer

Job Description Responsibilities Define and execute an endtoend qualityengineering strategy for applications APIs integrations and cloud services
Design and maintain automated test frameworks for unit API integration regression performance and reliability testing
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to review requirements user stories and acceptance criteria
Integrate automated tests into CICD pipelines and establish appropriate quality gates
Validate securecoding requirements aligned with OWASP principles
Test authentication authorisation IAM rolebased access and leastprivilege controls
Verify dataclassification dataprotection encryption masking and securetransmission requirements
Conduct performance load stress endurance and volumetry testing
Validate platform reliability resilience error handling recoverability and service degradation behaviour
Verify application observability through logs metrics traces alerts and operational dashboards
Record prioritise and track defects through resolution and retesting
Analyse test failures and collaborate with engineering teams on rootcause identification
Prepare test plans automation reports quality dashboards defect metrics and releasereadiness recommendations




Continuously improve test coverage automation efficiency testdata management and feedback cycles
Required 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing QA automation or quality engineering
Strong experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks
Handson knowledge of unit integration API regression performance and reliability testing
Understanding of OWASP securecoding principles and applicationsecurity testing
Knowledge of IAM authentication authorisation and leastprivilege access controls
Understanding of data classification encryption privacy and securedata handling
Experience integrating test automation with CICD pipelines
Practical experience conducting stress load endurance and volumetry tests
Familiarity with observability concepts including logs metrics distributed traces and alerts
Strong analytical defectmanagement documentation and communication skills
Nice to have skills Experience testing cloudnative microservices eventdriven or AIenabled applications
Familiarity with Python or JavaScriptbased automation tools
Knowledge of APItesting and performancetesting tools
Experience with containerised test environments and infrastructure automation
Securitytesting or performanceengineering certification
