The role ensures consistent execution of HR policies, practices, and processes across employee relations, talent management, performance management, and compliance.Job DescriptionRole OverviewThe Manager, Human Resources plans, prioritizes, and directs HR activities within an assigned department, business unit, or job family group.
The role operationalizes HR strategy through day-to-day execution, coaching leaders, managing employee lifecycle processes, and ensuring effective delivery of HR services.
The position typically reports to a Director of Human Resources, HR Business Partner leader, or equivalent senior HR role, and manages a team of HR professionals or specialists.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Service DeliveryAchieve operational and functional HR targets with direct impact on departmental and job family outcomesEstablish and execute day-to-day objectives and short-term operational plans for HR service deliveryEnsure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and programs across the workforceTalent & Performance ManagementSupport implementation of talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and development processesPartner with leaders to address workforce planning, succession, and development needsProvide guidance to managers on performance management, coaching, and corrective actionsEmployee Relations & ComplianceLead resolution of difficult but moderately complex employee relations matters, applying judgment within established policy and legal frameworksEnsure compliance with labor, employment, and workplace regulationsPartner with Legal or senior HR leadership on escalated employee issues as neededHR Policy & Program ExecutionExecute HR programs related to compensation, benefits, learning, engagement, and workforce initiativesDrive moderate improvements to HR processes and practices to enhance effectiveness and employee experienceSupport change management efforts associated with organizational or policy changesStakeholder Communication & InfluenceCommunicate with stakeholders within and occasionally outside the department, including managers and employeesExplain HR policies, practices,
