The team is responsible for providing replacement part solutions to customers with aging equipment.
Primary areas of focus will be on electric motors, valves (check, control, ball, regulator, solenoid), pump/motor assemblies, fan assemblies, heat exchangers, and engine handling lift equipment.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Define part/assembly design, drawing creation (source control, retrofit kit)



and dimensional review with proper part numbering and taxonomyCollaboration with suppliers to define replacement part or assemblyInterface and collaborate with hydromechanical system design engineers and compliance engineeringValidate safe working load requirements as necessaryValidate hazardous area certification requirementsDefine kits as required to bridge form/fit/function differences including installation instructions and creation of bills of material and routingPart/assembly modeling as requiredManage certification tables in ERP systems and evaluate part certification requirements/status codingManage technical questions from the fieldINFO code analysis and supporting documentation as requiredPart end-of-life identification and documentationDefine component/assembly change documentationMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of a bachelor's degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering, general engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or electrical engineering.Overall GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.0-3 years of relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:Previous co-op or Internship experience.Problem solving skills.High energy level and sense of urgency.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Good business / technical judgment.Ability to handle multiple priorities for a variety of tasks.This position requires working onsite five days a week.Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.Posting Dates:September 22, **** - October 2, ****Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
