Job Description
: Engine Test Engineer of automotive engine units. The work activities will include, but not be limited to:
Responsibilities
: · Perform engine testing using dynamometer (dyno) systems · Set up and operate engine test benches and instrumentation · Ensure safe and efficient test execution · Collect and process engine test data · Support engine durability, thermal, and NVH validation activities · Analyze results using data acquisition systems · Generate test reports and performance insights · Assist calibration teams in optimizing engine performance · Support tuning activities based on test results · Conduct engine performance evaluation including power, torque, efficiency, and emissions · Perform carbon balance calculations for fuel efficiency and emissions analysis · Understand and analyze engine operation principles · Apply combustion fundamentals to interpret test outcomes · Troubleshoot engine and test-related issues Qualifications
