Logistics Distribution Sr Manager
A Logistics & Supply Chain Manager will oversee the efficient movement of goods, materials, and information across the company's supply chain network, ensuring timely delivery of products while minimizing costs.
Logistics Optimization: Coordinate logistics operations for inbound raw materials and outbound finished products, including optimizing transportation routes and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding imports and transportation. Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers and freight forwarders to improve delivery performance while minimizing costs.
Inventory and Warehouse Management: Lead the implementation of advanced inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels across regional warehouses. Manage the distribution center operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products to integral customers. Implement robust inventory tracking mechanisms using ERP and warehouse management systems to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors across local to secure favorable contracts and terms. Regularly evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality and delivery timelines, making necessary adjustments to vendor portfolios when required. Collaborate closely with the procurement team to ensure a smooth flow of materials into manufacturing sites.
Cost Efficiency and Budget Management: Lead cost-reduction initiatives in supply chain operations, identifying opportunities to lower logistics, transportation, and warehousing costs without compromising service levels. Develop and manage the supply chain and logistics budget, ensuring expenditures are aligned with the company's financial objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration:



Work closely with production, sales, and customer service teams to align supply chain operations with market demands and product launch schedules. Act as the liaison between the supply chain team and senior leadership to report on logistics performance and strategic initiatives.
Leverage ERP systems and other logistics software to enhance visibility and control across the supply chain. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics management or similar role.
Experience in managing supply chains for manufacturing operations, especially in corporative retail.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Advanced English.
Logistics Operations: Understanding logistics processes including transportation management, warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
Inventory Management: Skills in inventory control, including inventory forecasting, safety stock management, and inventory optimization techniques to balance stock levels with demand fluctuations.
Technology and Systems: Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems and advanced warehouse management systems.
Understanding of risk assessment in supply chain operations, compliance with trade regulations, and implementing contingency plans for disruptions.




Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain performance.
Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse team of logistics professionals, foster collaboration across departments, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
Awareness of industry trends, best practices, and innovations in logistics and supply chain management to stay competitive and drive strategic initiatives.
