Core Molding Technologies is seeking aPlant Director to lead all aspects of plant operations, driving performance across manufacturing, engineering, quality, safety, delivery, and customer satisfaction. This role has full accountability for plant performance, includingP&L; ownership, operational execution, and team leadership . The Plant Director partners with site and corporate leadership to deliver results, build a strong culture, and establish a high-performing, world-class manufacturing operation. Key Responsibilities Lead all plant operations, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and safety Ownplant P&L; performance , driving profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency Establish and execute strategies to achieve targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost Lead and develop the plant leadership team; establish performance goals and ensure accountability for results DriveLean Manufacturing, 5 S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site Ensure strong process discipline and adherence to quality and operational standards Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement Allocate resources effectively to meet production and business objectives Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed Partner with customers, suppliers, and corporate leadership to support business growth and new program launches What Success Looks Like Consistent achievement of plant performance targets in safety, quality, delivery,



and cost Strong financial performance and cost management High employee engagement and leadership effectiveness Successful launch and execution of new customer programs Continuous improvement in operational efficiency and quality performance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience as a Plant Manager or Plant Director in a high-volume manufacturing environment Strong expertise inLean Manufacturing, process controls, and quality systems, including IATF 16949 / TS 16949 Experience withroot cause analysis, Six Sigma, 8 D, and structured problem-solving tools Demonstrated engineering and manufacturing process knowledge Strong financial acumen with experience managingplant-level P&L; Proven track record of improving safety performance and operational results Experience working with OEM customers and customer-facing programs Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Solid understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements Preferred Experience Experience withthermoplastic materials and injection molding processes Experience with molding equipment and processes Demonstrated success improving or turning around underperforming operations Full-time, Monday through Friday.
