Job Description:
We are looking for an
Application Support / Oracle PL/SQL Developer
to support and maintain business-critical applications.
The adecuado candidate combines strong
Application/Production Support experience
with hands-on
Oracle PL/SQL programming skills
, with the ability to troubleshoot incidents, analyze application and database issues, and implement effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
Application and Production Support
for business-critical systems.
Troubleshoot application incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
code.
Work with
stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries
.
Analyze issues involving applications, databases, interfaces, batch processes, and integrations.
Perform application maintenance, bug fixes, testing, and production implementations.
Work with business users and technical teams to understand and resolve application issues.
Support application enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
Participate in production deployments and post-production support when required.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience in
Application / Production Support
.
Hands-on experience programming with
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
.
Experience developing or maintaining
stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries
.




Experience troubleshooting application and database-related production issues.
Experience performing
incident analysis, root-cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution
.
Good understanding of relational databases and application/database integrations.
Intermediate English level or higher
, with the ability to communicate in a professional environment.
Nice to Have
Experience in any of the following technologies or business areas will be considered a plus:
Borland Delphi / Pascal.
Visual Basic.
Linux and shell scripting.
Oracle Database Administration.
.NET technologies.
Experience supporting legacy applications.
Knowledge of
Mexican customs, import/export, or related business processes
.
Ideal Profile
We are looking for a hands-on technical professional who is comfortable working in a
production support environment
while also performing development and application maintenance activities.
Strong experience in
Oracle PL/SQL programming and Application Support
will be prioritized. Experience with the additional technologies listed above is valuable but
not required to be considered for the position
