Sales Engineer – Technical Sales / Power Transmission

We are looking for a Sales Engineer responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and providing technical support throughout the sales process.

The position combines engineering, consultative sales, customer service, and business development, working directly with engineers, managers, directors, distributors, OEMs, and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Visit customers, understand their technical requirements, and identify business opportunities.
- Present products and technical solutions to customers.
- Provide technical advice for equipment and component selection.
- Prepare proposals and follow up on opportunities through the closing of the sale.
- Provide technical support related to equipment installation, operation, and start-up.
- Develop Aftermarket and repair business opportunities.
- Train distributors, OEMs, and end users on products and applications.
- Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Inside Sales, and Aftermarket teams.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales opportunity information in the CRM.




- Analyze customer applications and provide technical information to support purchasing decisions.
- Monitor market and competitor activity and identify opportunities for business growth.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience selling equipment and/or power transmission components.
- Intermediate English – conversational, reading, and writing.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Knowledge of engineering concepts such as torque, power, RPM, speed, and efficiency.
- Ability to read technical drawings, layouts, and assembly plans.
- Strong communication skills with people at different organizational levels, from operators and engineers to managers, directors, and business owners.
