we are seeking an experienced sap global trade services (gts) consultant to provide application management services (ams) support for sap s/4hana and sap gts environments. The consultant will be responsible for supporting general trade compliance processes, customs management, export/import controls, sanctioned party screening, preference management, and integration between sap gts and sap s/4hana.

the role involves incident resolution, enhancements, business process support, compliance monitoring, and ensuring seamless operations within a global support model while meeting sla and regulatory requirements.

key responsibilities

ams support & operations

- provide l2/l3 production support for sap gts processes and integrations.
- monitor and support daily business operations related to international trade compliance and customs management.
- resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues within agreed slas.
- perform root cause analysis (rca) and implement preventive solutions.
- support month-end, quarter-end,



and year-end business-critical activities.

sap gts functional support

support and maintain the following sap gts processes:

compliance management

- sanctioned party list (spl) screening
- embargo checks
- export control classification
- license determination and management
- legal control processing

customs management

- export declaration processing
- import declaration processing
- customs duty management
- bonded warehouse processes
- customs communication interfaces

integration & technical support

- support integration between sap gts and sap s/4hana/ecc.
- monitor idocs, rfcs, bapis, and middleware interfaces.
- coordinate with pi/po, cpi, basis, security, and functional teams for issue resolution.
- troubleshoot master data and transactional data replication issues.
- support interface testing and deployment activities
