accounts payable supervisor

we are looking for an accounts payable supervisor to oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls and applicable regulations.

key responsibilities

- manage and supervise the accounts payable process.
- review and validate invoices, including intercompany transactions.
- monitor payment schedules, approvals, and supplier terms.
- perform account, payment, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
- investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
- prepare weekly payment proposals and cash flow forecasts.
- control employee advances and supporting documentation.
- support month-end closing, accruals, audits, tax requirements, and financial reporting.
- collaborate with internal teams, suppliers,



and other stakeholders to ensure efficient processes.
- identify opportunities for continuous improvement in ap operations.

requirements

- bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting processes.
- experience in oil & gas, energy, or another complex/regulatory industry preferred.
- strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- experience with sap or other erp systems .
- advanced excel skills.
- knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements.
- proficient english , written and spoken.
- strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
