Job description

Manage and ensure the proper functionality of the Wire Prep system through the coordination of developments, process standardization, and by providing the necessary training and support to users.

- Provide solutions jointly with the IT department to user issues.
- Technical support to wire prep area.




- Secure Wire Prep system setting to consume engineering data set to Wire Prep.
- Coordinate developments with IT teams (USA and Europe).
- Follow up on the resolution of Wire Prep issues.
- Analyze the cost/benefit of user requirements.
- Provide alternatives and ideas for enhancing the system to support user needs.
- Provide management with reports on the status of projects.
- Respond to corrective actions on time.
- Ensure robust processes to guarantee data integrity and reliability within the wire prep system.
- Provide training to new users on system usage.
- Communicate implemented developments to all sites.
- Generate specifications for system developments and assess the feasibility of engineering developments.
- Carry out continuous improvement activities in engineering processes and systems, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement and ensure that the work team implements the necessary health, safety, and environmental measures to protect the physical integrity of personnel.

Candidate skills & requirements

Specific knowledge:

Knowledge of SHARP, SEE EED, customer specifications, customer data structures, AS400, 8D's, and wire prep procesess

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook)

Desirable knowledge:

Programming in RPG language, SAP, SHM.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.
