Application Engineer/sales - electrical products Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Application Engineer/sales - electrical products.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function of the Application Engineer is to provide technical application support to customers, sales and other Bussmann division departments. The Application Engineer will work to drive demand for Bussmann products through technical application support and technical marketing. In addition, they will support more technical and in-depth email inquiries and phone calls. The Application Engineer will be viewed as the technical expert on Bussmann series products and their application.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A. Provide in-depth technical application support to customers via phone, chat and email
B. Act as the technical expert from the factory and travel into the field as necessary
C. Provide inside support for Field Application Engineers on calculating SCCR using UL508A and OSCAR3.0.
D. Provide guidance on NEC, UL, CSA, & IEC requirements for overcurrent and overvoltage protection.
E. Participate on NEMA/UL and other industry standards panels and committees
F.



Develop and author technical materials and white papers
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering from an accredited institution
Three years experience in a technical sales, application engineering or other engineering role in the electrical industry
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area will be considered for this position.
Hybrid schedule (at least 3 days onsite, including Monday and Thursday)
Preferred Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering
Experience in a technical sales or application engineering role
Bilingual (English / Spanish)
