Role Summary The QHSEAdvisorisresponsibleforensuringthatthecompany's Quality, Health, Safety,and Environmental(QHSE)policiesandproceduresareeffectivelyimplementedandmaintainedwithinanofficeenvironment,supportingoffshoredrillingoperations. Theroleinvolvescompliancemonitoring,riskassessment,trainingcoordination,andcontinuousimprovementinitiativestoenhancesafetycultureandenvironmentalsustainability. The QHSEAdvisorcanbeallocatedtooffshoresupportdutiesasdictatedbyoperationsand Directorof QHSE. Job Specific Responsibilities Quality, Health&Safety; Responsibilities: Implementandmaintain QHSEpolicies,procedures,andmanagementsystemsincompliancewithcompanyandregulatorystandards. Developanagendaforactionitemswiththe Rig Managerpriortodepartureoffshoreandreviewresultswith Rig Manageraftervisit. Coordinatewith QHSESupervisorany QHSEmandatesforworkoffshoreonthespecificunitthatwillbeworkingwith. Conductfacilitysurveys, ISMauditsandworkinprogresstoensurecontinuousimprovementinthehealthandsafetyprograms. Effectivelyuseandsupportall Safety Managementprogramsemployedbytheorganization. Reviewrigspecificproceduresandidentifyopportunitiesforimprovement. Audit,identifyandcommunicatebestpractices,lessonslearned,safetyandenvironmentalertwithoperationsandthecompanyfleet. Ensureimplementationoffindingsandresultsarecommunicatedwithmanagementforappropriateaction. Coach,observeandmentorthesafetyofficersonboardeachunitinthecompanyandriskassessmentprocesses. Conductriskassessmentsandsupporthazardidentificationprocessesforoffshoredrillingoperations. Monitorandreportoncompliancewithoccupationalhealthandsafetyregulations,ensuringbestpracticesarefollowed. Investigateincidents,nearmisses,andnon-conformances,providingrootcauseanalysisandrecommendingcorrectiveactions. Assistinemergencypreparednessplanning,drills,andresponsecoordination. Conductinternalauditsandsupportexternalauditsbyregulatorybodies,clients,andcertificationagencies.



Ensureproperdocumentationofsafetyprocedures,workpermits,andincidentreports. Organize QHSEtrainingprograms,toolboxtalks,andawarenesscampaigns. Environmental Responsibilities: Monitorandassesstheenvironmentalimpactofoffshoredrillingactivities,ensuringcompliancewithenvironmentallawsandstandards. Developandimplementenvironmentalmanagementplans,spillresponsestrategies,andwastemanagementprograms. Conductenvironmentalriskassessments,includingemissions,discharges,andhazardousmaterialsmanagement. Ensurecompliancewiththe International Conventionforthe Preventionof Pollutionfrom Ships(MARPOL), Osloand Paris Conventionsforthe Protectionof Marine Environment(OSPAR),andotherenvironmentalregulationsapplicabletooffshoreoperations. Collectandanalyzeenvironmentalperformancedata,preparingreportsforregulatoryagenciesandinternalstakeholders. Providetechnicalguidanceonpollutionprevention,sustainabilityinitiatives,andresourceconservation. Supportoffshoreteamsinmanagingenvironmentalincidents,includingspillresponsecoordinationandreporting. Qualifications Preferablyabachelor'sdegree: Environmental Engineeringor QHSEDegree,oranyequivalentfield. Yearsofexperience:5years'experiencein QHSEoroperations(Offshoresupervisorylevelexperiencerequired). Certificatesin ISM/ISPSand ISOenvironmentaltrainingpreferred. Mustpossessexpertiseandknowledgeofhowtocoachpeopleintheproperplanningofworkwiththeidentificationofrisksandunsafehazards. Skills/abilities Proficientinverbalandwritten Englishlanguageskillsandabletoeffectivelycommunicatewithallcrewmembers. Self-starterwithprovenproblem-solvingability. Teamorientedandcapableofinfluencingthebehaviorofothers. Strongobservational,analyticalandpresentationskills. Abilitytotraveltoseverallocationsandworkunsupervisedinremotelocations.
