Key Responsibilities

- Show Ownership &
- Editorial Strategy

- Own multiple shows end-to-end, from pre-editorial planning to post-release optimization.

- Review and approve concept notes, localization approaches, and adaptation frameworks.

- Ensure consistency in tone, and narrative quality across episodes and seasons.

- Content Development &

- Adaptation Oversight

- Oversee script adaptation and localization workflows executed by Junior Writers.

- Ensure all scripts meet editorial standards, cultural relevance, and storytelling depth.

- Guide the use of GenAI tools for structured, high-quality script adaptation.

- Provide detailed feedback and direction to refine scripts before production.

- Team Management &

- Leadership

- Manage and mentor a team of Junior Writers, each assigned to individual shows.

- Review outputs, provide constructive feedback, and ensure consistent quality across the team.

- Drive accountability, productivity, and skill development within the team.

- Foster a strong creative culture focused on storytelling excellence and user impact.

- Production Collaboration &

- Quality Control

- Provide feedback on voice-over, production quality, and final audio output.

- Ensure alignment between scripts and produced audio content.

- Collaborate with production, QC, and creative teams to maintain high-quality output.

- User-Centric Content Improvement

- Analyze user feedback, comments, and listening patterns to refine storytelling approaches.

- Apply a strong user-first lens to identify gaps and solve content-related challenges.

- Ensure content resonates with target audiences and drives long-term engagement.

- Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with business, content, and production teams to align on show goals and performance targets.

- Participate in weekly reviews with the business team to evaluate show progress and define action plans.

- Communicate insights, risks,



and opportunities effectively across stakeholders.

- Promotion &

- Growth Strategy

- Guide the development of promotional concepts and scripts for assigned shows.

- Ensure promos align with the show’s narrative hook and audience appeal.

- AI-Driven Editorial Innovation &

- Tool Adoption

- Demonstrate hands-on usage of AI tools to enhance editorial workflows, script development, research, adaptation, and content optimization.

- Apply strong editorial judgment while leveraging GenAI tools to ensure narrative quality, factual consistency, cultural sensitivity, and platform standards.

- Stay updated on emerging AI trends, storytelling formats, and editorial best practices to continuously improve creative processes and team efficiency.

- Experiment with new AI-enabled workflows and proactively identify opportunities to scale content quality, personalization, and production speed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Creative Writing, Media, Communications, or a related field.

- Proven experience in scriptwriting, content localization, or storytelling for audio/video platforms.

- Strong leadership experience managing writers or creative teams.

- Deep understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and audience engagement strategies.

- Experience working with AI-based writing/adaptation tools is preferred.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and drive decisions.

- Excellent communication, feedback, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple shows and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
