Andela is building a faculty of technical instructors for paid, occasional assignments helping client engineering teams adopt AI coding tools. We are recruiting for in-person delivery in São Paulo and Mexico City, with virtual assignments also possible.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Lead practical workshops, demonstrations and guided exercises using AI-assisted development tools.
- Explain engineering concepts clearly, answer live technical questions and help learners debug real problems.
- Adapt supplied learning material to audiences with different levels of experience.
- Help colleagues and clients develop effective, responsible AI coding workflows.

WHAT YOU BRING

- At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in fullstack development, backend development, DevOps or cloud engineering. No single programming language or cloud platform is required.
- Practical use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Cursor in real development workflows. Experience across multiple tools is valuable.
- Experience teaching, mentoring, running technical workshops or helping colleagues or clients adopt new engineering tools. Formal instructor experience is welcome but not essential.
- Strong client-facing communication: you can demonstrate technical work, explain trade-offs and respond to questions from different audiences.
- Availability to deliver in person in São Paulo OR Mexico City. You do not need to cover both locations.



São Paulo delivery requires Portuguese; Mexico City delivery requires Spanish.

WHO COULD BE A GREAT FIT

You might be a technical instructor, developer advocate, solutions architect, technical consultant, presales engineer, or a hands-on engineer or technical lead who regularly teaches others. Your engineering foundation and ability to explain matter more than your current title. Repeat live facilitation and experience developing a structured training series are especially useful.

HOW THE WORK FITS

This is an instructor network for occasional paid assignments, not a full-time vacancy or a guaranteed allocation of hours. Payment relates to agreed delivery assignments; there is no paid bench retainer. Work may include a few virtual hours or intensive in-person training days. Employed professionals, consultants and independent instructors are welcome where availability permits. Assignment dates and terms will be agreed separately.

SELECTION PROCESS

CV review and initial screening, followed by the relevant Woven technical assessment for your engineering background and a teach-back session. The assessment checks engineering foundations; the teach-back checks how you explain and facilitate.

HOW TO APPLY
