The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance function in a wiring harness manufacturing plant, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, safe operations, and cost-effective maintenance execution. This role will drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, lead technicians, manage spare parts and vendors, and ensure strong technical support for key production assets, with a strong focus on Schleuniger and Komax cutting, stripping, crimping, and processing equipment. Key Responsibilities - Lead and develop the maintenance team (electrical, mechanical, and automation technicians), setting priorities, schedules, and performance standards. - Ensure high equipment availability for wiring harness production lines, with strong focus on Schleuniger and Komax equipment (cut/strip/crimp, applicators, presses, and related stations). - Implement and continuously improve preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) programs; track compliance and effectiveness. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex breakdowns (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic),



performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Manage maintenance planning and work orders through a CMMS (or equivalent system): backlog control, KPI tracking, and reporting. - Define and manage spare parts strategy: critical spares, min/max levels, obsolescence management, and supplier development. - Coordinate external service providers and OEMs (including Schleuniger/Komax support) for specialized repairs, retrofits, and calibrations. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; strong preference for wiring harness / automotive / high-volume assembly. - Proven hands-on expertise with Schleuniger and/or Komax machinery (cutting, stripping, crimping, applicators, presses, processing cells). - Advanced english
