POSITION SUMMARY
A
Warehousing Leader
oversees the efficient operation of the company's warehouse facilities. They are responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing storage space. This role involves coordinating with logistics teams to streamline incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining safety standards, and implementing best practices for warehouse operations. Additionally, the Warehousing Leader plays a crucial role in training and supervising warehouse staff to maintain productivity and meet operational goals.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management:
Overseeing the accurate tracking and management of inventory levels, ensuring availability while minimizing excess stock.
Warehouse Operations:
Planning and organizing warehouse layout and workflow to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
Shipping and Receiving:
Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and deliveries.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforcing safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the warehouse environment.
Team Management:
Leading and supervising warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluating and improving warehouse processes and procedures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Technology Utilization:
Implementing and utilizing warehouse management systems and other technologies to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
Customer Service:
Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and addressing any warehouse-related customer inquiries or issues.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Monitoring and controlling warehouse operating expenses within budgetary constraints.
Among other duties as assigned.
Experience & Background
5+ years of experience as an Warehousing Leader or similar role.
Experience as a Warehouse Team Leader with experience of supervising and motivating a team
Degree and Language
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Advanced English.
Master is a Plus
