Senior Associate/ Associate – Salesforce Developer | PwC

About the role As a Senior Associate Salesforce Developer, you will design, build, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions that enable business outcomes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate requirements into high-quality technical designs, and drive best practices across the development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop secure, scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration
Integrate Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs), and implement robust data models and security controls
Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate user stories into technical solutions and estimates
Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for deployments and environment management
Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and provide production support as needed
Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
Work in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Required qualifications
4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce security model
Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP), JSON, and middleware patterns
Strong understanding of Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud




Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders
Strong communication skills and a consulting mindset
Professional proficiency in English
Preferred qualifications
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II and Administrator preferred)
Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset) and test automation
Knowledge of MuleSoft or other integration platforms
Data migration experience (Data Loader, ETL tools)
JavaScript/TypeScript expertise and front-end performance optimization
Prior consulting or client-facing experience
