Role Overview

Responsible for managing the company’s employment and labor law matters, including litigation, compliance, risk mitigation, and employment-related advisory, in alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and defend the company in employment and labor litigation and administrative proceedings.
- Advise on employment law compliance, employee relations, investigations, and risk mitigation.
- Draft, review, and update employment agreements, policies, procedures, and related legal documents.
- Conduct employment law compliance audits and recommend remediation measures.
- Manage outside counsel, litigation strategy, and legal budgets.
- Monitor legal developments and proactively advise stakeholders on emerging employment and labor risks.
- Maintain litigation and employment law files and ensure appropriate documentation and record retention.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of legal experience in a corporate environment or in a Law Firm is required.
- Advanced English level (B2).
- Intermediate MS Office package proficiency. Detail oriented and strong time management skills.
- Candidates must be located in Guadalajara or Puebla, or be available to relocate to either city.
