VOLCANIX AUTOMATION is building a multidisciplinary Controls & Robotics team to support a large-scale advanced energy manufacturing facility in the Northeastern United States. We are hiring multiple engineers and programmers across several experience levels, from Intermediate Engineers to Technical Leads. This is a hands-on engineering opportunity involving industrial controls, SCADA development, PLC programming, robotics integration, commissioning, and production support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Whether your expertise is in Controls, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Develop, configure, commission, and troubleshoot industrial control systems and automated equipment. Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs using Studio 5000. Develop, configure, and maintain Ignition or factory talk view Platform SCADA applications Integrate robots with PLC-controlled equipment, industrial networks, vision systems, and safety devices. Optimize robot paths, cycle times, and process performance to meet production goals. Perform system testing, validation, customer run-offs, and production handoffs. Troubleshoot controls, robotics, electrical, communication, and automation issues. Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers,



production personnel, and customer teams. Maintain technical documentation while following customer engineering standards. Experience Levels Intermediate Engineer / Programmer 1+ years of experience in industrial automation. Experience in one or more of the following: Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal) Working experience with Ignition Platform (SCADA) Familiarity with industrial networks (Profinet, Ether Net/IP) Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities Strong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing environment Experience with vision systems, motion control, safety systems, or error-proofing is preferred Qualifications Engineering or Technical Degree required Strong communication and documentation skills Comfortable working on-site in fast-paced manufacturing environments Self-motivated with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Work Authorization MUST HOLD US Valid PASSPORT Additional Information Compensation is based on experience, technical expertise starting from 25 USD per hour Travel and work-related expenses are covered by the company Work Location is On-site #J-18808-Ljbffr
