C.H. Robinson is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Monterrey. In this role, you will work closely with a strategic customer, serving as a key link between the customer, warehouse operations, and our service delivery teams. You will be responsible for planning and managing customer orders, monitoring material flows, resolving operational issues, and ensuring the successful execution of supply chain activities.
This position requires strong logistics knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction. You will use SAP and Excel extensively to analyze data, create orders, track performance, and support operational decision-making.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Create, manage, and monitor customer orders within SAP.
+ Download, analyze, and maintain operational reports and planning data.
+ Plan and coordinate order execution with customers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders.
+ Review order status and inventory information to ensure timely fulfillment.
+ Communicate proactively with customers regarding planning activities, order updates, and issue resolution.
+ Participate in regular customer meetings and maintain strong customer relationships.
+ Monitor operational processes and identify discrepancies between systems, including SAP and transportation management tools.
+ Investigate service issues and coordinate corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Work closely with service delivery, operations, and customer teams to ensure alignment across the supply chain.
+ Analyze data and performance trends to identify opportunities for process improvements.
+ Support inventory visibility and planning activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
+ Identify potential risks, delays, or supply disruptions and proactively recommend solutions.
+ Maintain accurate planning data and documentation.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
+ Minimum 2 years of professional experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain planning, inventory management, warehousing, or related fields.
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting.
+ Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
**Preferred:**
+ Experience working with SAP.
+ Experience in supply planning, order management, transportation planning, or materials planning.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proactive mindset and strong ownership of operational processes.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills.
+ Ability to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.

**Summary**
This role supports critical customers at various sites in the CCS segment of our business. It oversees the overall supply chain ramp/execution to ensure the customers' requirements are met. Planning, demand management alignment, proactive solutions and direct collaboration with the customers and supporting functions, and developing strategies and execution plans to optimize the supply chain are crucial aspects of this role.
**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Maintains positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, etc., who have a significant impact on the success of the organization.
+ Maintains responsibility for management of materials availability to support build plans throughout the product life cycle for a specific business unit or customer set.
+ Provides leadership in designing the supplier portion of the materials supply chain to provide optimum flexibility with minimum investment.




+ Manages the effort to identify and develop suppliers to meet current and future business needs.
+ Leads efforts to reduce material cost and assess/respond to supply risks.
+ Manages the administration of all site purchasing contracts and agreements.
+ Manages the development of delivery requirements, material plans and short-range capacity plans to meet production schedules and inventory objectives.
+ Responsible for customer interface from SCM including relationship management and as the focal point for all SCM-related issues and for tracking and driving inventory results for North America working with site GM's, SCM managers and customer VP/GMs.
+ Participates in business process improvements to help achieve inventory targets and maximize return on investment.
+ Works to ensure Celestica is compliant with customs and regulatory laws. Negotiates with carriers to support domestic and international air, rail and ocean transport ensuring favorable rates and cycle times for Celestica.
+ Establishes department goals/ measurements and manages resources to achieve these goals.
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
+ In-depth knowledge and understanding of integral supply chain management, distribution methods, and global transportation services and inventory management
+ Broad knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials and processes
+ Strong knowledge of the marketplace conditions for a broad range of strategic commodities in industry pricing, technology, supply/demand and emerging trends and in all areas of import/export, regulatory and logistics management
+ Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills
+ Good understanding of IT concepts and integrated business applications
+ Strong communication and presentation skills

**Physical Demands**
