Vacancy: Commissioning Technician
The Commissioning Technician will ensure that the system, equipment, and installation function correctly, safely, and as designed before delivery to the client or commissioning. Responsible for testing, adjusting, and validating that everything is working properly before official startup. Commission, test, and validate PLC-controlled automated systems, ensuring that the hardware, software, and processes interact correctly according to the project engineering. This is the final technical check before an installation becomes fully operational.
Verify digital and analog I/O (I/O check).
Diagnosing electrical and instrumentation faults
Load and validate PLC programs
Test the programs under certain conditions, ensuring that everything works according to production requirements
Test security logic and interlocks.
Force signals (when safe) for testing
HMI/SCADA: Verify screens, alarms and trends, check local/remote commands, validate fault messages and statuses
What will you need as a successful Commissioning Technician?
Degree in Electronic, electricity, mechanical, electromechanical engineering Degree.
1 year of experience with PLC Brands programming.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Spanish (native) and English (B1 - desired)
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
