About the Client
A bootstrapped AI-powered B2B SaaS company serving the catering and events industry is looking for an AI Automation Specialist to own lead sourcing and operational coordination for its growing portfolio of restaurant and hospitality clients. The company runs a productized outbound agency service on top of its core platform—executing AI-assisted cold email campaigns at scale for 20–30 restaurant and catering businesses.
This is an early-stage, founder-led team (two founders currently), and this hire joins as the third team member and the company's first dedicated operations hire. The team is lean,
technically strong, and building rapidly. Leadership is hands-on with high expectations for self-direction and proactive problem-solving.
About the Role
This is an execution-heavy, automation-focused role blending lead sourcing, campaign coordination, and light client support—not a strategic account management position. You'll source leads using AI-powered enrichment tools, manage AI bot responses to inbound prospects, introduce warm leads to clients via email and text, set up email infrastructure for new client onboards, and monitor campaign deliverability. All prospect and client communication happens over email and text—no phone calls required.
Success in this role means consistently sourcing 1,000+ leads per week, responding to bot-generated replies within 30 minutes, and proactively identifying workflow inefficiencies before they block the team. Scope will evolve significantly over 6–12 months as
