Regional Formulated Product Development Manager – Mexico

Contract: Three-year consultancy agreement

We are supporting an international crop-protection company in hiring a Regional Formulated Product Development Manager for Mexico.

This role will lead formulated-product development, field-trial execution and technical positioning for the Mexican market, while working closely with regional commercial, regulatory and supply teams.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the Mexico formulated-product development roadmap and annual trial portfolio.
- Identify priority crops, pests, application gaps and formulation opportunities.
- Design and manage efficacy, crop-safety, residue-support and product-positioning trials.
- Select and manage CROs, universities, trial stations and technical consultants.
- Ensure robust trial protocols, data capture, statistical interpretation and final reports.
- Support registration submissions with technical evidence and work with regulatory teams on data gaps.




- Benchmark competitor formulations and local grower practices.
- Develop product positioning, label recommendations, technical claims and launch support materials.
- Train sales teams and distributors; support demonstrations and customer discussions.
- Track project timing, budgets, risks and technical-delivery metrics.

Candidate requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Agronomy, Plant Protection, Agricultural Parasitology, Crop Science or a related discipline.
- Experience in agrochemical R&D;, field trials, technical development or product management in Mexico.
- Strong knowledge of insecticides, fungicides and herbicides.
- Experience in trial design, data interpretation and managing CROs or multi-location field programmes.
- Able to connect technical development with registration, marketing and commercial launch needs.
- Professional Spanish and working English.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Mexico.
