As an Acceleration Center - Assurance Private - Senior Associate, you will focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information, enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will evaluate compliance with regulations, including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others.

You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and developing your skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing increased ambiguity.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, while upholding professional and technical standards.

Responsibilities

- Conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
- Evaluating internal controls and compliance with regulations to enhance governance and risk management processes
- Utilizing auditing methodologies and financial reporting standards to assess financial disclosures and transactions
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide insights on financial reporting and compliance
- Analyzing financial data to inform recommendations and support decision-making processes
- Developing and maintaining client relationships to facilitate effective communication and project delivery
- Applying technical accounting knowledge to interpret and implement accounting policies and standards
- Leading teams in the execution of audit engagements, confirming timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and recommending solutions to enhance audit efficiency
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements

What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
