Job Opportunity: Account Engineer / Quotation Location: Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila

Position Summary

Our client, an automotive metal-mechanical company in Ramos Arizpe, is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Account Engineer / Quotation professional. This role is pivotal in bridging commercial requirements with technical feasibility, ensuring accurate cost estimations and customer follow-up.

Requisitos

Key Responsibilities

- RFQ & Quotation Lifecycle Management: Manage, control, and track RFQs. Plan and coordinate the quoting process with engineering teams and relevant departments.
- Cost & Commercial Analysis: Develop, review, and approve detailed cost breakdowns. Lead technical and commercial clarifications with clients to ensure alignment.
- Technical Reviews & Launch Support: Coordinate and supervise technical reviews of processes and products, ensuring all client requirements are clearly understood and correctly applied during the product launch.
- Contractual Integrity: Verify Purchase Orders (POs) against quoted proposals to ensure alignment.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively lead cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives, implementing ideas related to product design,



manufacturing processes, and capital investment.
- Quality & Problem Solving: Provide technical support for manufactured products using GD&T; to determine geometry, dimensions, and tolerances, proactively preventing assembly line issues (internal or customer-side).
- Capacity Planning: Manage and maintain data on plant and machinery capacity. Use customer releases and cycle time data to monitor plant utilization and identify opportunities for future projects.

Candidate Profile

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in quotation, cost engineering, account or program management within the automotive industry.
- Technical Competencies:
- Core Tools Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
- Design & Engineering Tools: Proficiency in design software (SolidWorks) and visualization tools (SpinFire, etc.).
- Quality & Standards: Solid understanding of IATF 16949 standards.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability in technical analysis and complex problem-solving.
- Industry Knowledge: Stamping and Metal-mechanical process knowledge is highly desirable.
- Languages: Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
