About The Role You will manage Credit, Collections and Accounts Receivable activities across Mexico and Latin America, helping to optimise cash collection, reduce overdue balances, maintain reliable financial information and ensure compliance with internal controls.
The position also provides operational support for Treasury and banking processes where required.
Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Managing customer portfolios, collection activities and accounts receivable processes, including customer queries, account reconciliations and accurate SAP records.
- Performing customer financial analysis, credit evaluations, insurance renewals, credit-limit reviews and payment-term reviews, while preparing supporting business cases for approval.
- Managing customer onboarding, master-data maintenance and order releases in line with approved credit policies and internal controls.
- Preparing and analysing Accounts Receivable, collections, DSO, credit risk, provisions, cash-flow and month-end reports for local, regional and global stakeholders.
- Supporting bad debt recovery, legal collection activities and internal or external audits by providing accurate financial information and supporting documentation.
- Communicating proactively with customers and internal stakeholders and escalating significant collection issues, overdue balances and credit risks in a timely manner.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, reporting quality, automation and operational efficiency.
- Supporting Treasury operations through bank account administration, reconciliations, payment controls, corporate card management and banking documentation.
Hybrid working This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. About You You are a proactive and results-driven finance professional with experience in Credit, Collections and Accounts Receivable management. You have strong analytical skills, sound judgement and a focus on delivering results that positively impact cash flow and business performance. You demonstrate ownership, accountability, integrity and excellent attention to detail, and you are confident working with stakeholders across different functions and countries.
Essential Requirements
- Experience managing Accounts Receivable, Collections and/or Credit activities, including responsibility for customer accounts and debt collection.
- Experience in financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, customer portfolio management and collection processes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using ERP systems.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, cash-flow fundamentals, financial reporting, internal controls and compliance.
- Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency, ideally B2 level or above.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
