The Advanced Test Engineer within the SIL FCS Group is responsible for the development and implementation of Facility Control Systems (FCS) for new test solutions, leveraging expertise in software development and system modeling. This role involves analyzing test requirements and designing control strategies to achieve the pneumatic and hydraulic test conditions required by the Unit Under Test (UUT). Additionally, the engineer develops and integrates software-based test solutions to verify the functionality and performance of various product configurations and part numbers.
The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to coordinate the design, development, validation, and deployment of test solutions in accordance with the Aerospace Engineering Process.
