AP ANALYST

We are looking for an AP Analyst to join the Finance team of an international retail company. This position will support day-to-day Accounts Payable and Treasury activities, ensuring accurate financial processes, compliance with accounting guidelines, and timely support for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

The AP Analyst will work closely with General Accounting, Credit, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis, Legal, and other business departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage cash management activities, including cash concentration, account funding, wires, and intercompany transfers.
- Prepare and process outgoing payments, including checks, ACH and wire transfers.
- Perform daily cash pool and wire clearing activities.
- Reconcile vendor accounts in SAP against vendor statements.
- Review, post, and clear bank fees and GL accounts.
- Ensure vendor invoices are properly coded, approved, and entered into SAP accurately and on time.
- Communicate with vendors and respond to internal and external inquiries.
- Support monthly accruals for outstanding invoices.
- Reconcile provisions for quarterly and year-end closing.
- Prepare and reconcile incoming cash payments.
- Prepare Accounts Payable & Treasury reports, including DPO and cash-flow statements.




- Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings.
- Assist with financial audits.
- Participate in process improvement and system implementation projects, including payment automation.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 13 years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or Treasury.
- Knowledge of SAP (R/3) is a plus.
- Experience within Retail, Wholesale or eCommerce is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under deadlines.
- Project management skills are a plus.
