About THE HOME GALLERY THE HOME GALLERY is a Southern California homebuilder specializing in manufactured and modular homes. We manage projects from floor-plan development and client design through permitting, factory production, installation, and completion.

We are looking for a full-time Architectural Drafter with strong residential drafting skills and Archicad experience to join our remote design team.

This is a hands-on position. You will develop and revise floor plans, elevations, and 3D home models, participate in client design meetings, and coordinate closely with our design, permitting, factory, and construction teams.

What You’ll Do

- Create and revise residential floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models.
- Develop home designs based on client requirements.
- Modify existing manufactured and modular home plans.
- Prepare accurate drawings for client review, factory coordination, and permitting.
- Make revisions based on feedback from clients, engineers, factories, and project managers.
- Participate in live virtual design meetings with U.S.-based clients.
- Make plan revisions during or shortly after design meetings.
- Verify dimensions, layouts, doors, windows, and exterior details.
- Maintain organized project files and drawing versions.
- Coordinate with design, permitting, and construction teams.
- Produce clean presentation drawings and render-ready 3D models.
- Complete assigned work accurately and on schedule.

Required Archicad proficiency is required.

You should also have





Previous experience with residential architectural drafting; strong floor-plan and space-planning skills; experience creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D residential models; understanding of architectural plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents; fluent spoken and written English; confidence speaking directly with clients on video calls; strong attention to detail; and a reliable computer, high-speed internet, webcam, and professional remote workspace.

You must be available consistently Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Pacific Time and reside in Mexico or another Latin American country compatible with this schedule.

Preferred Experience

Experience with manufactured or modular homes is strongly preferred. Experience with U.S. residential construction, HUD-Code manufactured housing, California projects, architectural rendering, or remote collaboration with U.S.-based construction teams is also valuable.
