We're hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer to join a integral energy technology company's cloud engineering team.

This is a hands-on cloud engineering role spanning AWS infrastructure, Terraform, cloud security, vulnerability management, and operations - working closely with Cloud Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, Security teams, and application teams to keep enterprise cloud platforms secure, reliable, scalable, and well maintained.

What You'll Do

- Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable AWS cloud environments
- Configure and manage core AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Lambda
- Use Terraform to provision, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure, developing and maintaining reusable modules
- Manage Terraform versions and infrastructure changes, validating and testing configurations before deployment
- Monitor AWS environments for vulnerabilities and configuration risks, and drive remediation
- Implement and maintain effective patch management across AWS resources
- Review IAM permissions, network configurations, and other cloud security controls alongside security teams
- Monitor health, availability, and performance, investigating incidents and implementing resolutions




- Support capacity planning, scaling, and cost optimisation
- Document AWS architecture, configurations, and operational processes, and contribute to cloud engineering standards

What We're Looking For

- Strong hands-on experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer, AWS Infrastructure Engineer, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Lambda
- Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, including developing and maintaining Terraform modules
- Experience with AWS security, vulnerability management, and remediation
- Experience with AWS patch management and infrastructure maintenance
- Good understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently within a large enterprise cloud environment
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
