The Business Analytics
Manager owns performance management, operational analysis, and data-driven improvement strategy for a department with a strong focus on performance management. This is a people-manager role: the Business Analytics Manager leads a team, sets performance expectations, and is directly accountable for their team's output, in addition to owning process improvement and analytics work.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and track the performance of the team, setting clear performance expectations.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to close performance gaps.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the team.
- Develop and implement strategies and action plans to improve team and department performance.
Performance Analysis and Process Improvement
- Design and maintain KPI/OKR frameworks and dashboards for the department.
- Conduct time-and-motion studies, root-cause analysis, and performance studies to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma-driven process improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain process maps using Lucidchart.
Project Management
- Manage end-to-end projects using Agile-based project management practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required
- 8–12 years of experience in Operations, Business Analysis, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience directly managing and developing a team.
- 2+ years of experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Strong Google Sheets/Excel skills (5+ years).
- Experience with at least one BI tool: Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio (2+ years).
- Process mapping experience using Lucidchart (2+ years).
- Working knowledge of Agile project management practices.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow Belt/Green Belt or higher).
