Buyer MRP

Purpose of the Position: Responsible for optimizing the overall cost of materials, developing the supply base and supply chain strategies, and negotiating pricing terms and agreements for materials that are strategic to the business unit.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

- Analyze and project component purchase prices that accurately reflect inventory value for each financial period under Standard Costing.
- Create weekly purchase orders including all client parts.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure timely payment.
- Optimize overall material cost through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
- Support, execute, and provide input to improve factory initiatives and strategies.
- Enhance sourcing options by collaborating with internal teams to identify preferred or strategic suppliers aligned with customer-approved manufacturers.
- Monitor, track, and provide feedback on supplier performance regarding cost, delivery, and quality.




- Manage materials that are business-unit specific and/or strategic.

Experience:

- Proven experience in MRP processes.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain management.
- Experience in SMT industry (Surface Mount Technology).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Languages: English — Advanced.

Software: MS Office SAP-MRP
