As a Zuma Cashier, you are responsible for the accurate and secure management of restaurant payment transactions, ensuring all financial activity is processed and reconciled in accordance with Company procedures. This role manages the cash register from opening through closing, including payment processing, reconciliation, tip reporting, and discrepancy resolution. The Cashier also provides professional guest assistance with billing inquiries and supports the Reception team as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Main Duties Your key responsibilities will include:

- Open and close the cash register according to Company procedures, including cash counts and reconciliation
- Accurately process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and other approved payment methods
- Review guest checks for accuracy and assist with billing or payment-related inquiries
- Monitor cash and payment transactions and report any discrepancies or irregularities to management
- Complete nightly reconciliation, cash reports, and tip reporting accurately
- Maintain the security of cash, receipts, and financial information at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and secure cashier workstation
- Support the Reception team as needed, including greeting guests, providing information, and assisting with guest flow

- Naturally friendly, customer-oriented, and skilled at creating memorable dining experiences
- Previous cashier, cash-handling, or payment processing experience, preferably within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
- Experience with POS and reconciliation systems; MICROS experience preferred
- Knowledge of cash-handling procedures, payment methods, reconciliation, and transaction controls
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to work adaptable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
