About the Role

Impact Advisors Mexico is looking for an Epic HB Associate to support hospital billing workflows and healthcare technology solutions for U.S. healthcare organizations.

This role is designed for professionals with experience in hospital billing, healthcare revenue cycle, hospital operations, patient financial services, EHR/EMR systems, healthcare IT, or related healthcare environments who are interested in developing specialized expertise in Epic and healthcare consulting.

Epic HB experience or certification is not required to apply. Candidates may have opportunities to develop Epic expertise and pursue certification based on applicable role requirements, business needs, eligibility, and Epic processes.

What You'll Do

· Support hospital billing and revenue cycle workflows within Epic.

· Analyze application requests, incidents, and workflow issues related to Hospital Billing.

· Support workflows involving hospital charges, billing, claims, payments, adjustments, and accounts receivable.

· Assist with application configuration, testing, validation, and implementation activities.

· Work with revenue cycle and hospital operations teams to understand workflow requirements and translate them into application solutions.

· Support analysis of billing workflows and related system processes.

· Investigate application and workflow issues, identify potential root causes, and coordinate appropriate resolutions.

· Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for system enhancements.

· Support implementation, upgrade, optimization, and enhancement activities as applicable.

· Create and maintain application documentation, workflow materials, and support resources.

· Collaborate with patient financial services, billing teams, revenue cycle leaders, clinical stakeholders, operational teams, and technical teams supporting U.S. healthcare clients.

· Support initiatives focused on revenue cycle optimization, process improvement, and operational efficiency.

· Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, issues, testing activities, and resolutions.

Required Qualifications

· 1–3 years of professional experience in hospital billing, healthcare revenue cycle, patient financial services, healthcare operations, healthcare IT, EHR/EMR support,



or a related environment.

· Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

· Experience working with healthcare information systems, billing systems, EHR/EMR platforms, or ticketing/support environments.

· Understanding of hospital billing and/or healthcare revenue cycle workflows.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to understand complex operational workflows and translate business requirements into practical system solutions.

· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

· Clear and professional communication skills.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with operational, financial, clinical, and technical stakeholders.

· Proactive and adaptable approach.

· Commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Epic or another EHR/EMR platform.

· Epic HB experience or certification.

· Experience with hospital billing workflows.

· Knowledge of hospital charges, charge capture, claims, payment posting, adjustments, denials, or accounts receivable.

· Experience with patient financial services or hospital revenue cycle operations.

· Experience supporting inpatient and/or outpatient hospital billing processes.

· Experience with healthcare revenue cycle applications.

· U.S. healthcare experience.

· Healthcare technology or consulting experience.

· Experience participating in EHR implementations, upgrades, testing, or optimization initiatives.
