We are seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Supervisor to join a leading manufacturing company in Nogales, Sonora.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead accounting processes while partnering closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other key areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate Cost Accounting activities and processes.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, margins, and cost variances.
- Perform and review standard cost and vigente cost analysis.
- Analyze material, labor, overhead, and manufacturing variances.
- Support and participate in the month-end closing process.
- Prepare financial and management reports related to manufacturing costs.
- Maintain and analyze standard costs, BOMs, and product costing structures.
- Monitor inventory valuation and support inventory control processes.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.




- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and company procedures.
- Present financial and cost information to management and cross-functional teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cost Accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and manufacturing costs.
- Experience with month-end closing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish – written and verbal communication required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both local and international teams.
