Role Description The Customs Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ciudad Juárez, CHH. This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing import and export activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing documentation, working closely with customs brokers, monitoring shipments, and resolving issues related to clearance and delivery.

The Customs

Specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize customs processes, maintain accurate records, and support the continuous flow of goods across borders.



The role also involves staying up to date with relevant legislation and trade agreements to minimize risk and avoid delays.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of customs processes, including Customs Brokerage and Import Export operations.
- Experience managing Import and Export transactions, with the ability to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, customs authorities, and logistics partners.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, tariffs, and free trade agreements.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for tracking shipments and maintaining records.
- Proficiency with relevant software and systems used in logistics, customs, and documentation management.
- Ability to work on-site in Ciudad Juárez, CHH, and coordinate activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant educational background in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or a related field; experience in the food or manufacturing sector is a plus.
