Senior Associate/ Associate – Salesforce Developer | PwC

About the role As a Senior Associate Salesforce Developer, you will design, build, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions that enable business outcomes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate requirements into high-quality technical designs, and drive best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

- Design and develop secure, scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs), and implement robust data models and security controls
- Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate user stories into technical solutions and estimates
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for deployments and environment management
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and provide production support as needed
- Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Required qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce security model
- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP), JSON, and middleware patterns
- Strong understanding of Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud




- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and a consulting mindset
- Professional proficiency in English

Preferred qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II and Administrator preferred)
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset) and test automation
- Knowledge of MuleSoft or other integration platforms
- Data migration experience (Data Loader, ETL tools)
- JavaScript/TypeScript expertise and front-end performance optimization
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience
