Preschool Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Preschool Teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field to join our team. The idóneo candidate will have a deep understanding of child development principles and be skilled in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and play-based learning environment. This role is crucial in laying the foundation for a child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, preparing them for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

- Curriculum Development and Implementation: Design, plan, and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs and interests of preschool-aged children.
- Instructional Excellence: Utilize a variety of educational techniques, including hands-on activities, storytelling, music, art, and educational play, to teach foundational concepts such as letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
- Student Assessment and Progress Tracking: Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining detailed records of their development and using this information to guide individualized instruction.
- Classroom Management: Create a safe, inclusive, and organized classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.
- Parent and Guardian Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.
- Collaboration:



Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience and contribute to the overall goals of the school.
- Health and Safety: Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for the classroom and playground.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Preschool Education, or a closely related field is required.
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Preschool Teacher or in a similar role within a formal educational setting.
- Certification: State teaching certification or licensure in Early Childhood Education, if applicable.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of child development theories, best practices, and educational methods for preschool children.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
- Creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging lesson plans.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to the diverse learning needs of each child.
- Other Qualifications:
- CPR and First Aid certification (or a willingness to obtain it).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Physical stamina to keep up with the demands of working with young children.
