About the Role

515 Activewear is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Fashion Designer to join our team. We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of activewear and apparel development who can transform creative concepts into technically accurate, production ready designs.

The adecuado candidate has a strong eye for elevated, contemporary fashion while understanding the importance of fit, functionality, construction, and performance. Excellent English communication skills are required, as the role involves communicating technical details and revisions throughout the product development process.

Responsibilities

- Develop original activewear and loungewear designs from initial concept through production.
- Translate creative concepts and references into professional fashion sketches and technical flat drawings.
- Create detailed, production-ready tech packs with accurate measurements, construction details, materials, trims, and specifications.
- Develop and review size charts and garment measurements.
- Research seasonal trends, colors, silhouettes, fabrics, and market direction using WGSN and other fashion research resources.
- Collaborate throughout the sampling process and provide clear, detailed corrections and revisions.




- Review samples for fit, proportions, construction, functionality, and overall design accuracy.
- Ensure final garments remain consistent with the original creative direction, renders, and technical specifications.

Requirements
- Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Previous experience in activewear, sportswear, loungewear, or apparel design.
- Strong experience creating professional tech packs, technical flats, and fashion sketches.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and technical apparel design.
- Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, fit, measurements, and product development.
- Familiarity with WGSN, trend forecasting, and fashion market research.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to receive and implement feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate consistently throughout projects.

A professional portfolio demonstrating both creative design and technical development skills is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month
