Point Global Logistics (PGL) is a rapidly growing international logistics and supply chain organization with operations across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Operations & Shared Services Manager to lead our Financial Operations and Shared Services Center, supporting multiple legal entities across the United States, Mexico, Germany, Brazil, China, and other international locations.

This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a high-volume transaction environment, combines strong accounting expertise with operational leadership, and has a passion for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of key financial processes while driving standardization, operational excellence, and strong internal controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Reconciliations

- Lead and oversee bank reconciliations across multiple entities, currencies, and banking partners.
- Review and approve corporate credit card and travel expense reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding reconciliation items and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate payment file preparation and upload to international banking platforms.
- Support cash management activities and treasury-related controls.

Accounts Payable (AP)

- Oversee the processing and posting of vendor payments across multiple systems and entities.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment and ERP posting integrity.
- Maintain compliance with corporate policies, approval workflows, and internal controls.
- Monitor AP productivity metrics and service level performance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Supervise customer cash application activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate allocation of customer payments.
- Manage unidentified receipts and collection of supporting documentation.




- Resolve discrepancies and reconciliation issues impacting customer accounts.

Team Leadership

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2-4 finance professionals.
- Establish performance objectives and individual development plans.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Effectively manage workloads, priorities, and critical deadlines.
- Serve as a key liaison between integral finance leadership and operational teams.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA, Master's Degree in Finance, or professional certifications are highly desirable.

Experience

- 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance Operations, or Shared Services environments.
- 2+ years of people leadership experience within Shared Services, BPO, Global Business Services (GBS), or high-volume transactional finance organizations.
- Proven experience managing large transaction volumes across AP, AR, Cash Applications, Treasury, and General Ledger functions.
- Strong exposure to multinational operations and multiple legal entities.
- Experience managing month-end close processes and complex reconciliations.
- Logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry experience is a plus.

Technical Skills

- Strong ERP experience
- Advanced knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Treasury operations.
- Experience with international banking platforms and payment processing.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Power BI, Power Automate, RPA, or other automation tools preferred.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, audit requirements, and financial compliance.
