We are hiring a Finance Supervisor who will lead the Accounts Payable & Cash team in Mexico. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence across AP, payment execution, and banking processes for Mexico, the U.S., and Canada, supporting compliance, accuracy, cash management, internal controls, and team development while collaborating with regional and global finance partners.

Supporting Meaningful Work

- Supervise daily Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and ERP transactions.
- Oversee supplier account reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies, providing guidance to the team on complex issues.
- Oversee activities related to AP invoice reductions, returns, debit notes, evaluated receipt settlement (ERS), and other AP adjustments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Manage and oversee payment processes and banking activities, including disbursements, bank fees, and cash-related entries for Mexico, USA and Canada.




- Manage weekly cash forecasting and collaborate with Global Treasury to ensure accurate cash planning, including providing AP payment forecasts and supporting liquidity planning activities.
- Review and approve account reconciliations and journal entries related to AP and Cash.
- Lead month-end close activities for AP and Cash, ensuring accuracy for corporate and statutory reporting.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including providing required documentation, and ensuring timely and complete responses.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with internal controls, including SOX requirements, payment controls, duplicate payment monitoring, and supplier banking verification processes.
- Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization initiatives within AP and Cash Management functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Treasury, Procurement, and senior stakeholders to support business needs and enhance operational effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 11+ years of experience in Accounting, or Finance roles, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.




- Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, banking operations, and internal controls.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and local accounting standards (Mexican GAAP) preferred.
- Effective communication skills in English (advanced level required).
