About Our Client

Our client is an AI-native company building voice and workflow automation for operational teams. Their platform enables companies to deploy AI agents that handle real phone calls, scheduling, customer interactions, and end-to-end operational workflows across systems like email, CRM, and internal tools. The core use cases are in logistics and freight, with the product extending into customer support, sales workflows, recruiting and staffing, appointment scheduling, and payment collections.

Role Overview

This is a Forward Deployed Engineer role based on-site in Mexico City, joining our client's team in Mexico. You will combine strong full-stack and AI/ML engineering with direct, hands-on customer work building production solutions embedded in real client environments, not from behind a support queue. This is a builder role: you'll ship features, tune AI/LLM solutions, and own the technical relationship with customers from onboarding through ongoing use.

What You'll Do

- Partner directly with customers throughout onboarding, implementation, and ongoing adoption to ensure they get maximum value from the AI platform.
- Design and build new product capabilities, prototypes, MVPs, and production features that solve complex customer challenges.
- Develop full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
- Build, deploy, and continuously improve AI-powered applications, including LLM workflows, prompt engineering, voice technologies, and transcription systems.
- Design and maintain integrations with customer systems and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.
- Iterate rapidly based on customer feedback, continuously improving performance and user experience.




- Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality and execution speed.
- Travel to client sites as needed (~40% of the time). This is a hands-on, in-person delivery role, not a remote position.

What We're Looking For

- Strong experience building full-stack applications with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience developing with Python.
- Experience building AI applications, including LLM prompting, tuning, and modern AI tooling. Production/builder-level, not just AI-assisted tool usage.
- Strong understanding of APIs and third-party system integrations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working directly with customers and acting as a trusted technical advisor.
- Exceptional prioritization and project management skills in fast-moving environments.
- A founder mentality: you take ownership, move quickly, embrace ambiguity, and thrive with autonomy.
- Based in Mexico City, Mexico, or willing to relocate, this is an on-site role at our client's office in Polanco, with ~40% travel to client sites. This is not a remote position.
- Strong English proficiency for client calls, documentation, and technical communication.

Nice to Have

- Experience with voice AI, transcription systems, or audio pipelines (STT/TTS).
- Experience at a startup or scale-up (Series A–C stage).
