About the Role

Hutchinson Seal de México is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for material planning, inventory management, production planning, logistics, supplier performance, and customer fulfillment while driving operational excellence, cost reduction, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all supply chain activities, including production planning, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, and customer service.
- Oversee MRP/MRP II planning processes to ensure material availability and production continuity.
- Develop efficient and versátil supply strategies that support customer demand and business growth.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels while balancing cost, service, and operational requirements.
- Drive supplier performance management, supplier evaluations, and continuous supply chain improvements.
- Lead cost reduction initiatives related to materials, logistics, and inventory management.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory turnover, on-time delivery, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Manage departmental budgets, objectives, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams while fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with IATF/ISO requirements, customs regulations, CTPAT standards, and corporate policies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,



Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics, or Procurement.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or industrial manufacturing.
- Advanced English proficiency with the ability to lead negotiations and deliver business presentations.
- Proven experience managing teams and driving operational improvements.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of MRP/MRP II, inventory management, purchasing processes, JIT, and Kanban systems.
- Supply chain planning and production scheduling expertise.
- Advanced negotiation and supplier management abilities.
- Logistics and international trade/customs regulations knowledge.
- Strategic thinking and data-driven decision making.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen, budgeting, and cost control capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in automotive manufacturing and Tier 1/Tier 2 supplier environments.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO standards, and operational excellence methodologies.
- Experience leading supply chain transformation or continuous improvement projects.
- Expertise in KPI development and performance management.
- Familiarity with demand forecasting and S&OP; processes.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma exposure.
- Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to build collaborative relationships across functions.
