Manages the financial activity generated by the Store Operations department. Responsible for the development, analysis and interpretation of statistical, operational and accounting information to appraise the operating results of Store Operations in terms of cost, budget, financial evaluations and policies. Ensures that process and registers comply with MEX/US GAAP accounting and internal audit policies. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Manages financial activities generated by store operations. Ensures that processes and registers comply with MEXGAAP/USGAAP accounting and internal audit policies. Provide financial and accounting advice on potential new operating process to ensure financial viability, adequate recording, tracking and visibility. Perform period close accounting review and AZ Store Operations P&L; and BS oversight.
- Develop Store Operations annual and quarterly operating plans/LEs/targets.
- Analyze and interpret statistical and accounting information in relation to Store Operations costs, budgets, policies, trends and increased profit possibilities.
Verify compliance and proper alignment of Operations to operating plan Strategies and tacics, including timely communication of deviations.
- Manages process improvement initiatives, such as measurement, analysis and reduction of spend levels, savings initiatives. Development of KPIs for monitoring operational efficiencies. Financial project evaluations for Operational projects (IRR, NPV).
- Perform regular and ad-hoc financial analysis of operating details, interpreting and reporting results to senior management.
- Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
