Role Description The High School Mathematics Teacher will design and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching algebra and other high school mathematics topics, assessing student progress through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles, encourages critical thinking, and promotes respectful collaboration.





Additional duties include participating in faculty meetings, communicating regularly with families and colleagues, and contributing to school-wide initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Álvaro Obregón, CMX.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics, including Algebra and other high school-level content.
- Demonstrated ability in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation for secondary education.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Experience teaching at the Middle School or High School level, or working with adolescents in an educational setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; teaching credential or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proficiency in bilingual (Spanish/English) instruction is highly beneficial.
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and assessment.
- Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices and to fostering a respectful, values-based learning environment.
