HR Director

Position Overview

Farahi Law Firm is an award-winning personal injury firm dedicated to fighting for the injured and delivering exceptional legal representation. We are a fast-growing, client-centric team that values aggressive advocacy, innovation, and community impact. The HR Director serves as the firm's senior HR, compliance, and risk leader, while supporting a U.S.-regulated law firm.

This role partners directly with executive leadership to define and execute people strategy, ensure full compliance with U.S. employment laws, and build scalable HR capabilities that support long-term growth. This position requires a seasoned HR executive with hands-on U.S. HR leadership experience, the ability to operate in a highly regulated professional services environment, and the judgment to manage sensitive employment matters across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

People Strategy, Workforce Planning & Business Enablement

- Set and lead a comprehensive people strategy that directly supports the firm's short- and long-term business objectives.
- Translate business priorities into workforce plans, organizational structures, and capability requirements.

Leadership Advisory, Coaching & Management Effectiveness

- Act as a trusted advisor to partners and senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, performance management, and employee relations.
- Provide coaching to managers to strengthen accountability, decision-making, and people leadership capability.

Talent, Learning & Capability Development

- Design and oversee firm-wide talent development, learning, and succession frameworks.




- Build internal capability pipelines to support business continuity and future growth.

Employee Experience, Engagement & Culture

- Shape and sustain a high-performance, professional, and inclusive workplace culture aligned with U.S. law firm standards.
- Oversee complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally sound outcomes.

Compliance, Risk Management & HR Governance

- Ensure full compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws, managed effectively from a shared services environment.
- Manage labor law compliance for the Philippines workforce and provide oversight support for Mexico, as required.

HR Operations & Shared Services Leadership

- Lead and develop the Philippines-based HR team supporting U.S. operations.
- Continuously improve HR systems, processes, and reporting to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Requirements & Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10–15+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Director-level leadership supporting U.S. organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in U.S. labor and employment law, preferably within law firms, insurance, or regulated professional services.
- Proven executive presence, sound judgment, and ability to manage sensitive, high-risk matters.
- Willing and able to work onsite, full-time night shift.

Preferred

- Experience leading HR from an offshore or shared services environment.
- Knowledge of Philippines labor laws; exposure to Mexico labor laws is an advantage.
