Job Summary

We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented bilingual Immigration Paralegals to support our EOIR/Immigration Court team. Paralegals will help prepare and manage a high volume of cases for immigration clients in the United States. Experience in immigration law is required. Work will be completed in English, so a strong English reading and writing level is also a requirement. Please note this is a contractor role which guarantees full-time hours, paid time off, a technology stipend, and paid holidays.

No other benefits are offered since this is a contractor position.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Assemble immigration application forms, along with required evidence, via Adobe.
- Meet with clients (via phone and video) to gather case information and prepare documents.
- Draft legal documents and affidavits.
- Manage a voluminous caseload for clients and meet filing deadlines.
- Update practice management software with all client information and case progress.




- Translation of documents from Spanish to English and vice versa.
- Interpret for appointments from Spanish to English and English to Spanish.
- Time track hours worked in accordance with the firm's time tracking policy.

Qualifications and Skills

- Excellent fluency in both English and Spanish (conversing, reading, and writing).
- Immigration law experience required, at least two years preferred.
- Stable work history.
- Passion to help underserved populations and to help people from all walks of life.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adobe PDF experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, handle a high case volume, and adapt easily to changing circumstances.

Note that compensation is determined based on the number of applicable years of immigration experience in alignment with the posted pay scale.
