About Passport Global
Passport Global's unique combination of technology, logistics, and expertise helps brands simplify global commerce and boost international growth.
Uniquely positioned as a partner that goes beyond traditional carriers and outsourcers, we combine innovative technology with in-house logistics and industry expertise. Our approach is to provide world-class services, empowering brands to grow while maintaining control over their stores, data, and cash flow.
At a glance
- Team: Implementation, reporting to the Director of Implementation
- Schedule: Flexible. You set your own calendar. Brands span US Pacific, Central, and Eastern time; what matters is that projects launch on time.
- Start: As soon as possible
About Passport Passport helps leading direct-to-consumer brands such as Native, Brümate, and LMNT sell and ship to customers around the world. Every brand that signs with Passport goes through Implementation before it goes live, which makes this team one of the most direct links between new business and revenue.
The role
As an IPM, you take newly signed brands from post-sale handoff to go-live. You will own 15–20 concurrent implementations, each following Passport's step-by-step project playbook. The process is repeatable; the brands are not, so every project brings its own nuances to solve.
These two openings focus on Passport's more standardized, out-of-the-box product.
The work is configuration- and validation-heavy and runs mostly over email and Slack, so expect fewer kickoff calls and a lighter meeting load than a typical implementation role, and a higher bar on written English, since most brand communication happens in writing.
What you'll do
- Own 15–20 concurrent brand implementations end to end, from post-sale kickoff through go-live
- Configure and validate each setup: eCommerce platform settings (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce), 3PL integrations, test orders, and pre-launch readiness checks
- Serve as the brand's primary point of contact, mostly by email and Slack, with kickoff or status calls when a project calls for them
- Keep project plans, milestones, decisions, and launch status current in Baton and Salesforce
- Spot risk early (incomplete data, missed milestones, a brand that has gone quiet) and escalate before it affects the launch date
- Pull in Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Ops, and Partner Support to unblock projects and keep ownership clear
- Lead hypercare after launch, complete the documentation, and hand the account off to Partner Support
- Improve the templates, checklists, and workflows you use so the next launch is easier than the last
Who we're looking for Must-haves
- 2+ years in project management, implementation, or customer onboarding at a technology company (SaaS, eCommerce, logistics, or similar)
- Startup or high-growth experience. This is the one non-negotiable: priorities shift fast, processes are still evolving,
and you will wear more than one hat
- Excellent English.
- Exceptionally organized and proactive; comfortable keeping 15–20 projects moving at once without dropping details
- Self-directed: once trained, you can put your head down and knock out projects without being managed day to day
- Careful about documentation. You don't cut corners, and you communicate before someone has to ask
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Nice-to-haves
- Salesforce and Jira; Baton is a plus
- Familiarity with eCommerce workflows: Shopify, BigCommerce, 3PL integrations, APIs, or shipping carriers
- Experience handling customer escalations and communicating through delays or blockers
No PMP, Scrum, or other project management certification is required. Please apply even if you don't check every box.
Why this role
- Real ownership from day one. You own the timeline, the communication, and the customer experience.
- Top-brand exposure. You work directly with leading DTC brands, something very few implementation roles offer.
- Direct impact. This team turns new business into live customers.
- Autonomy. Your manager is not a micromanager. Structure your days the way you work best.
- Shape the process. Passport is scaling quickly, and IPMs drive the templates, frameworks, and best practices.
- Fast growth. Deep, cross-functional experience across eCommerce, shipping, and logistics.
Success is measured through a mix of team OKRs and individual KPIs set together in your development plan.
Terms
- Full-time independent contractor agreement, paid monthly in USD
