Duties and responsibilities

- Analyzes the needs of the company and customers, researching transportation methods and agencies, auditing costs and performance, to ensure the lowest transportation cost.
- Follow all instructions regarding work dictated by the immediate supervisor.
- From an analysis derived from the shipment requirements, identify and select the carrier for the different shipments.
- Interacts with internal and external customers, freight forwarders and agencies and other functional areas to ensure the coordination and logistics of shipments.
- Prepares documentation for shipments including documents, invoices, packing lists, export-import declarations, shipping instructions and any other required documents.
- Responsible for releasing and maintaining delivery documents, auditing bills of lading and receipts, and providing transportation costs. Resolve and follow up on shipment-related issues.
- Maintain your work area and equipment in a clean, safe and professional manner. The employee is expected to follow all safety rules, keep their work area clean and tidy; and wear your personal protective equipment (PPE) in areas that are needed.
- Have knowledge and management of the Entropy system.
- Know the responsibilities of the EHS system.

Qualification Requirements
- University degree
- Experience of two (2) to five (5)



years in the area of importation of raw materials and equipment; as well as the export of finished product and return of machinery (maquila program).
- APICS certification preferred.
- Effective on the PC and highly familiar with SAP.
- Knowledge and/or experience in shipping regulations, traffic regulations, international regulations, certifications and import-export licenses.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize them in order of importance.
- Bilingual English-Spanish.
- Knowledge of quality system and EHS management system concepts.
